These terms govern your use of the DecideForUs mobile app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

The service

DecideForUs helps couples decide what to eat, watch, and do, and plan their time together. Suggestions (restaurants, movies, places, events, AI day plans) are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate, available, or suitable. Use your own judgment — always confirm details like opening hours, prices, and bookings directly with the venue or provider.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old (and of legal age to form a contract in your country) to use the app.

Subscriptions & free trial

• DecideForUs offers optional paid subscriptions: Plus (£4.99/month) and Couple Pro (£7.99/month). Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.
• Paid plans include a 3-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID / Google account at confirmation.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple / Google under their policies, not by us directly.

Your content

Plans, notes, and photos you add remain yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display them within the app and sync them with your paired partner. You’re responsible for the content you add and confirm you have the right to share it.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the app for anything unlawful, don’t attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, and don’t upload content that infringes others’ rights.

Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app’s suggestions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
